Sit in a real igloo, get frozen, find out what a dolmen has to do with ice? In the ice museum you can do it all and much more!

The ice museum is located in the working ice (sculpture) factory of Icecarving.nl. Discover everything about the production process, the influence and function of ice throughout the years, and see with your own eyes how life-sized ice blocks are transformed into the most beautiful sculptures. The sculptures are handmade by artist Sander Hurkens, NL champion Icecarving. With a bit of luck, you will see him in action during your visit.

The ice museum can only be visited after making an online reservation and operates on the basis of time slots.

Of course, the ice museum takes all Corona measures into account.

In the ice museum it is -10 degrees Celsius, so don’t forget to dress warmly. Hat and gloves are recommended.

Entrance tickets for the ice museum can easily be ordered online.
You will receive your online ticket via email with a QR code. You can scan these from your phone at the cash register, you don’t have to print anything.

The ice museum can only be visited after making an online reservation and operates on the basis of time slots. Check the availability on your desired day.

Ticket prices :

  • From 18 years: € 9.50
  • Children from 4 to 17 years: € 6.50
  • Children from 0 to 3 years old can travel for free and do not need a ticket

Icecarving workshops :

It is also possible to combine a visit to the ice museum with an ice carving workshop, duration approx. 60 min. After a short explanation, you can get to work yourself with a chisel and a clear block of ice to make an ice sculpture.

The ice carving workshop can only be booked in combination with a visit to the ice museum.

Prices for museum visit + ice carving workshop :

  • From 18 years: € 21.50
  • Children from 8 to 17 years € 17.75

We offer special rates for groups of 20 people or more, tour operators, schools and childcare facilities. Please contact us for the possibilities.

General return policy and corona return policy:
 General: purchased tickets cannot be canceled or exchanged for cash.
Corona: If the ice museum has to close due to corona measures, the ticket price will be refunded (excluding booking fee, which is part of the own risk).
